Austin has nearly two decades of experience in the financial services industry. Before joining Briowealth, Austin was a Regional Vice President at Transamerica Life and MetLife Investors where he worked with and coached financial advisors on retirement issues and retirement income planning.
Austin raised over 1.3 billion at those firms in strategies that enabled clients to achieve their retirement goals. Austin has his Retirement Income Certified Professional designation, a designation for financial professionals that specialize in retirement income planning and helping retirees and pre-retirees use the assets they have accumulated for retirement sustainability. Austin served as a company spokesperson presenting countless times on retirement issues, Social Security planning, and income distribution.
Austin is a native of Orange County where he lives with his wife Cathy and their two dogs Murphy and Romeo. They enjoy traveling, concerts and live music of any kind, playing and watching sports, Go Angels, Lakers, and THE Ohio State Buckeyes! Austin and Cathy also love movies and have a long standing tradition of watching all nominated films during awards season. They are involved in various charitable organizations that benefit cancer research and helping both children and adults with developmental disabilities, two causes that are very personal to their family. Austin has his Series 7, 6, 63 & 66 FINRA Registrations and Life and Long Term Care Insurance licenses.
